About the Journal

 Contemporary Issues in Development Studies is a journal to facilitate researchers, development practitioners, policymakers, and human rights activists across diverse fields: development studies, sociology, anthropology, political science, disaster, peace and conflict studies, gender studies, hospitality and tourism,  public policy and governance.  The aim of this journal is twofold aims: firstly, the journal attempts to open up new areas of debate around the changes that are happening in the journal’s domain. Secondly, the journal aims to bridge the knowledge gap across disciplines and provide a platform for robust empirical research and theoretically informed contributions in the form of original research papers and review articles on a variety of contemporary issues pertaining to development.
